i'm a novice. i bought this product for a trip to morocco.The price was great. this product met my expectations--it was lightweight and did the job.However, it is clearly not robust, and probably will not last long. u can tell the joints, brackets and fasteners arent premium quality.If you are looking for something that does not care to break during use, this is a good choice. if you want something thats gonna last years and has a lot of bells and whistles, dont buy this. Also, I find it very helpful mini-tripod..
